Bordando Historias - Stitching stories - NYC & Mexico City

A series of workshops for Latin women and their children were facilitated during July and August 2014 to design the quilts that will be part of The Monument Quilt, a collection of thousands of stories of survivors of rape aimed to create and demand public spaces to heal.

These workshops were organized in New York by Immigrant Movement International and Violence Intervention Program, Inc. (VIP Women) and in Mexico City by La Casa Mandarina where survivors wanted to support and join their voice to the summer 12- city tour across the United States.
