La Publivíboras

La Cabaretiza AC, lanzó el 2011, La Noche de las Publivíboras, un observatorio ciudadano de violencia de género en los medios de comunicación (televisión, radio, internet, etc.), particularmente en la publicidad que, de manera lúdica, busca sensibilizar a la población sobre la importancia de observar y denunciar los mensajes inequitativos, misóginos y sexistas que los medios promueven; además de propiciar el debate y la reflexión sobre el tema. 


NO MORE Campaign

The NO MORE PSA Campaign, spearheaded by the Joyful Heart Foundation in partnership with NO MORE, involves more than 50 celebrities and public figures asking bystanders to get involved to end domestic violence and sexual assault.


The Monument Quilt

The Monument Quilt ia a public healing space by and for survivors of rape and abuse.

The Monument Quilt is a crowd-sourced collection of thousands of stories from survivors of rape and abuse. By stitching our stories together, we are creating and demanding public space to heal.  We are creating a new culture where survivors are publicly supported, rather than publicly shamed.

Larger than two basketball courts put together, The Monument Quilt was displayed during the summer 12- city tour across the United States organized by Force: Upsetting Rape Culture´s 

Secret Survivors: using the theater to break the silence

Secret Survivors is an initiative by Ping Chong + Company to use theater to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and join a nationwide movement to end it.

Project Unbreakable

Project Unbreakable´s mission is to increase awareness of the issues surrounding sexual assault and encourage the act of healing through art. Project Unbreakable features photos of sexual assault survivors holding posters with quotes from their attackers. 

I have the RIGHT... Campaign

I have The RIGHT... Campaing, by Project Envision Coalition NYC, is a series of images and captions that combat many common rape stereotypes by demonstrating that it is a choice made by the perpetrator.  

Conducting Interviews With Survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.

WITNESS presented a 6-part video series including first-hand experience from trainees, experts, leading activists and survivors expanding on: considerations for filming, creating appropriate questions, safety & security, interviewing techniques and the effects of trauma on survivors.
